Contact the Editorial Desk
There is one editorial mailbox, and this page says what it will and will not help with.
The one mailbox
The editorial mailbox is editor@ileshaingotng.com. It is the only address the desk uses, and it reaches the people who write and check the pages. There is no telephone line, no live chat and no office address published here, because the desk has no walk-in service and will not invent details it does not have.
Write in plain English and say which page you are writing about. If you are reporting a figure that looks out of date, include the broker's own document or the page where you saw the current one, so the desk can compare it. A clear note with a source is worth more than a long complaint without one.
What a useful message contains so an answer is possible
A useful message contains one question, the exact URL, the sentence or figure you are asking about, and the source you are comparing it with. Write the question in the first line so it can be routed without reading the rest. Quote the page word for word rather than paraphrasing, because a paraphrase hides the sentence that needs checking. If the question is about a calculation, show the numbers you used: the lot size, the price and the formula. If it is about funding, name the method from the list on the site and the step where it failed. Screenshots help when a page will not load.
A useful message says what you have already checked. If you looked at the SEC Nigeria register, say so and say what you found. If you compared the page with a broker's own documentation, name the document and the section. If you are asking about leverage, state the ratio you saw and where, because the page records conflicting review figures and will not resolve them by picking one. If you are asking about pips, state the pair, the lot size and your pip value so the arithmetic can be checked against 1 lot = 100 oz and pip = 0.01.
A useful message avoids three things: personal details, multiple unrelated questions, and instructions to publish something. Do not send account numbers, card numbers, passwords, one-time codes or scans of identity documents. Do not bundle a correction, a funding question and a complaint into one email, because each needs a different check. Do not ask for a guest post or a paid placement, because those are not accepted. A short message that names the page, quotes the line and asks one clear question is answered faster than a long one that describes everything except the sentence in dispute.
What the desk cannot do and where account, fund and advice questions actually go
The desk cannot access your trading account, reset a password, release a withdrawal, reverse a transfer or recover funds. It has no login to any broker platform and no connection to any payment processor. If your money is with a broker, the route is that broker's own support channel. If a bank transfer or card payment has gone wrong, the route is your bank or card issuer. If you are checking whether a firm should be dealing with you at all, the route is the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators. The desk can repeat that caveat but cannot act on your account.
The desk cannot give personal trading advice, and it cannot tell you whether to trade gold, how much to risk or where to place a stop. It cannot recommend a leverage setting, and it will not treat 1:200 as a target. It cannot confirm that a broker is safe for you, and it cannot verify a claim that a firm is registered; it can only point you to the register. It cannot interpret your tax position, your bank's rules or your card issuer's dispute process. Questions in those areas get a short reply naming the right route, not an attempt to answer from the desk.
The desk cannot publish your content, sell you a link, or add a promotional mention to a page. It cannot change a figure to match a broker's marketing, and it cannot add a spread, a commission, a swap or a minimum deposit that it was not given. It cannot confirm a leverage ratio beyond what the page records, because the review figures were conflicting and not verified. It cannot promise an outcome on any trade, and it will not use language that suggests one. If your message asks for any of these, the reply will say no and name where the request belongs instead.
What the desk will and will not help with
The desk will help with questions about what a page says, where a figure came from, and whether a check was done. It will explain how a margin example is calculated, or why a funding method was or was not listed for Nigeria. It can point you to the corrections process if something on the site is wrong.
The desk will not help with account problems, will not chase a broker on your behalf, and will not attempt fund recovery. It cannot see your account, cannot instruct a broker, and has no authority over any firm. It also does not give personal advice on whether to trade, how much to risk or which position to take; that is between you and a licensed adviser, and gold CFDs carry a high risk of loss.
How a correction request is handled from receipt to published fix
A correction request is logged, checked against the quoted sentence and the source you supply, and then either applied to the page or declined with a reason. The desk first confirms that the sentence you quote exists on the URL you name. It then compares your source with what the page states. If the page is wrong, the fix is made and the page is updated. If the page is right and your source disagrees, the desk says which source it relied on and why. You get a reply either way, and a declined request is still answered in plain words.
The desk will not change a figure just because a reader prefers a different one. The page states only the facts it was given: gold is XAU/USD, 1 lot is 100 oz, one pip is 0.01, the reference price is about 4275.0, and the margin example is about $85.50 for a 0.10-lot position at 1:200 via the offshore entity. It also records that one review cited 1:30/1:20 caps and that this was conflicting and not verified at review. A request to replace those with a different leverage number, a spread, a commission or a minimum deposit will be declined because the page has no number to put there.
A correction that adds a missing qualification is treated as a real fix, not a complaint. If a sentence reads as a guarantee when it should read as a description, or if a caveat is missing, the desk wants to know. Send the sentence, the URL and the qualification you think is missing. The reply will say whether the page was changed. The desk does not publish a public changelog and does not name the reader who sent the request. The goal is a page that is accurate for readers in Nigeria, not a record of who spotted what.
What the desk can answer and where personal trading advice stops
The desk can answer factual questions about what the page says, how a published calculation is built, and where a stated figure comes from. It can explain the margin arithmetic behind the $85.50 example for a 0.10-lot gold position at 1:200, confirm that 1 standard lot of XAU/USD is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, and point you to the exact sentence that covers a definition. It can also clarify the regulator caveat and the funding methods listed for Nigeria. It cannot tell you whether to buy or sell gold, where to set a stop, or how much of your ₦ balance to risk.
The desk cannot give personal trading advice, and that includes any answer that would amount to a recommendation for your account. It will not tell you which direction XAU/USD will move, whether leverage of 1:200 is right for you, or how to size a position for your circumstances. Leverage is a cap, not a target, and the desk will not treat it as a setting to aim at. If your question is really about what you should do with your own money, the honest answer is that no one at the desk can answer it, and you should treat any message that claims otherwise as a warning sign.
The desk can explain risk in general terms: gold moves, leverage magnifies both gains and losses, and a position can be closed out at a loss. It can repeat the caveat that you should confirm any broker on the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators. It cannot verify your identity, your account status or your eligibility for any product. It cannot interpret your personal tax position or tell you how a trade will be treated by your bank. Questions that cross into personal advice will be answered with the factual part only, and the advisory part will be declined in plain words.
The response time to expect and what changes it
Expect a reply within a few working days for a straightforward factual question, and longer when the message needs checking against a source. The desk answers in the order messages arrive, but a question that quotes the exact page and sentence is faster to route than one that describes the page from memory. Messages sent at the weekend or on a Nigerian public holiday will be read on the next working day. There is no live chat and no phone line, so the mailbox is the only channel and the queue is the only clock.
Response time depends on what you ask, not on how many messages you send. A question about a definition or a formula can often be answered from the page itself. A question about a conflicting leverage figure takes longer because the page records that the review figures were not verified, and the desk will not invent a number to close the gap. A correction request with a source and a quoted sentence is quicker to assess than a general complaint. Sending the same question several times does not move it up the queue; it adds work and slows the reply.
The desk does not promise a fixed number of hours, and any reply that gives you one would be a guess. What you can rely on is that every message gets read and that a message the desk cannot answer gets a reply saying so, rather than silence. If your question is urgent because money is moving, the mailbox is the wrong channel; contact your broker or your bank through their own support route. The desk has no access to accounts, no ability to stop a payment and no way to speed up a transfer.
No guest posts and no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. No payment changes a rating, adds a broker to a page, or removes a weakness from a paragraph. If a firm writes offering to pay for coverage, the answer is no, and that applies whatever the amount.
The only commercial relationship on the site is affiliate links, and they are disclosed on the pages that carry them. If you are unsure whether something you are reading is editorial or commercial, ask the mailbox and the answer will be given in plain terms.
What to send for each kind of question
For a question about a figure or definition on the page, send the exact URL and the sentence you are questioning. If the page says a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin at 1:200, quote that line and say what you think is wrong. For a question about how a calculation works, send the formula you used and the numbers you entered. For a question about local funding, name the method you used from the list on the site and the step where you got stuck. For a question about platform settings, name the platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader or FxPro Edge) and the screen you are on.
For a question about the regulator caveat, send the exact wording you are checking and the source you are comparing it with. The caveat says FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, and that you should confirm any broker on the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators. If you are asking about leverage, state the ratio you saw and where you saw it, because the page records conflicting review figures and does not verify them. For a question about pips, send the pair, the lot size and the pip value you calculated so the desk can check the arithmetic against 1 lot = 100 oz and pip = 0.01.
For a question about a broken link or a page that will not load, send the URL, the device and browser, and a screenshot if you can. For a question about a term you do not recognise, send the sentence and the surrounding paragraph so the desk can see the context. For a question about a number that looks out of date, send the page URL and the number, and say what you expected instead. Do not send account numbers, card numbers, passwords or one-time codes; the desk does not need them and cannot use them. Keep each message to one topic so it can be routed without guessing.
Plan on gold, execute on FxPro
FxPro offers MT4, MT5, cTrader and FxPro Edge for XAU/USD, and you can fund from Nigeria by local naira bank transfer, Visa or Mastercard debit card, e-payments or crypto. Check the entity that serves you and confirm the broker on the SEC Nigeria register before sending money.
